Ava Tunnicliffe

Founder & Publicist

Ava Tunnicliffe is the founder of Tallulah PR, a boutique publicity agency known for its artist-first approach and bold, outside-the-box campaigns.

Born in London and raised in New York City, Ava has over 12 years of experience in music and media. She graduated from Barnard College with a BA in English and began her career in editorial, interning at Teen Vogue, Marie Claire UK, and Cosmo UK, and freelance writing for Refinery29 and NYLON.

With a deep love for both music and fashion, she transitioned into the music industry, landing a PR internship at Republic Records. In 2016, she joined the Republic team full-time as a marketing coordinator, working on campaigns and social media strategy for artists like Drake, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, and Noah Kahan.

While working at the label, Ava began consulting for independent artists on the side, helping them navigate social media, marketing, and press. The demand grew quickly, and in late 2017, she took the leap and launched Tallulah PR.

Since then, Ava has helped shape the careers of rising stars like FINNEAS, Sophie Powers, Elijah Woods, Anna Shoemaker, and ROSIE, and handled PR efforts for bloghouse legend Uffie’s return to music. With a passion for working with clients in all phases of their careers, as well as a knack for designing campaigns that break the mold of traditional PR, Tallulah PR has quickly become as one of the industry’s leading publicity agencies.

Emma Koestler

PR Intern - Summer 2025

Meet Emma Koestler, a senior at Colgate University majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. Fascinated by the music industry since high school, Emma is looking forward to combining her admiration for both music and writing in the field of public relations.

Over the past few summers, Emma has experienced the management side of the industry as well as taking a music business course to further pursue her interest in the music business. At the age of 13, Emma learned how to play guitar and later taught herself piano, which sparked a passion for the behind-the-scenes world of the music industry.

Even as an English major, Emma has incorporated music into her course load as well as extracurricular activities at Colgate, making music a central part of her college career. Being a longtime Taylor Swift fan has trained Emma to pay attention to small details and appreciate music in a way that goes beyond the surface. Working with PR in the music industry is an opportunity Emma has worked for since high school, and she is thrilled to learn from Tallulah PR!
